Show and Tell Saturday - Rainbows!

It's time for another Show and Tell Saturday.  This week's segment's was inspired by this amazing layout from Luv-a-Lot Land.  I am a huge fan of bright colors and rainbows and this layout was so "Springy" I couldn't resist.  I loved all the details, banners, colorful font, etc.  Way pretty!

I love the way this set of rainbow hearts from Wilma had beautiful running colors!
I am in love with this rainbow washi tape from Frozen Note Supply at Etsy.com.  I must have it!

How about these beautiful rainbow colored ric rac flowers for your layouts, cards, and altered projects?  Here is a great tutorial for making these!

And finally, how about this beautiful little card from a Walk Down Memory Lane?

Show and Tell Saturday

I am loving all the mists and such for designing my own backgrounds lately and I really was inspired by a few techniques that I thought that I might share.  It all began with this layout.  I love the Studio Calico's white Mister Huey and this title really stood out to me!  This layout was created by Michelle Underwood from This Crazy Life.

So then I began to think about all of the ways and materials that you could use to create a masked background or title.  Here are a few techniques and projects that inspired me!

1.  From mytatteredangels.com

By the way, this site has TONS of examples and samples for masking!!!  It is a must!

2.  A tutorial about making your own masks from Sara at One Day at a Time

3.  And I love this background enhanced with gems and pearls from scrapbook.com
I can't wait to share some of my own projects with all of you!!!  Happy Saturday!

Show and Tell Saturday

Today I wanted to share with you my top 5 favorite tutorials.  I love new techniques but as we all know, some we definitely use more than others.  Here are my favorites:

1.  I am addicted to Bakers Twine of all colors.  So when I saw this tutorial for making twine pom-poms, I couldn't resist!

2.  I absolutely love this stamp your own doily tutorial from Paper, Scissors and Superheroes.

3. I love anything fruity or nutty smelling and so when I found this tutorial for fruity embossing, I was all over it!

4.  Okay so I know that I have posted this make your own washi tape tutorial from Aesthetic Nest before but I couldn't leave it out - especially with washi tape being all the rage right now.

5.   Finally one of the easiest and cheapest tutorials from Mrs. Priss, I love to make these felt pom-pom flowers like the expensive ones from Basic Grey and other companies.  They really are quite cool!

Thanks again for spending some time with me!
