The Leprechauns are Upon Us! - Show and Tell Saturday

And with them they brought a rainbow and a pot of gold!  I thought that I would just share a Pinterest inspired layout this weekend with St. Patty's Day soon to be here.  I loved this layout from Carolynn at Designer Digitals.  I loved the way that the rainbow colored patterned paper peeks out from around the cardstock and the cute little arrow.  So without further ado, the layout:

I don't know about you but I am a Pinterest addict! I love all the ideas, inspiration, tutorials, embellishments, and more and can't seem to get enough so this month's theme at Cookin' Up Creations is perfect. Every Blue Plate Special Challenge is inspired by amazing Pinterest finds! Check it out!

Nuts About Sketches 250 & 251

Around Christmas my brother found a cute little gift (gross but cute) called BEAN-boozled.  It was a crazy game where you spin a spinner that shows you a jelly belly.  Now you choose a jelly belly of that color and the trick is one flavor is yummy and the other gross.    So you choose Peach or Vomit, Strawberry or Centipede, Licorice or Skunk-spray, well . . . you get the idea.  So on Christmas Day I had to take pictures of the "fun."  The circles in Nuts about Sketches sketch 250 reminded me of the spinner and I had to scrap.

Next, as Spring Break draws nearer, I began to think about Disney (and all the photos that I have yet to scrap!)  So when I saw the Nuts About Sketches 251 sketch and the large photo, I decided to change it up a bit and scrap a few 5 x 7's that I had lying around.  Secret:  I also wanted to try "paper piecing" with clip art on my new Silohuette Cameo.  Here is the sketch:

This layout is based on a sketch from the same site - I just love this place - though I only did the left side of the two pager.  Unfortunately, our Walgreens had some issues with their photo machine so I didn't get to scrap the photos intended for this challenge but I still love the results!

This photo is of myself and my daughter on "Dress like your parent" day at school!  We look so much alike here!!!

Out with the Old!

This is one of my favorite time of the scrappy year!  I love that all of the Christmas gifts have been created and dished out and now I can refocus on my scrapping!  I also love that each year, Cookin' Up Creations has their month of challenges that focus on using (and reducing) your stash.  I love to challenge myself to use my scraps on a daily basis and can't wait for the challenges to begin!  Come join us!

Show and Share - a few new layouts!

I just wanted to share a few new layouts that I have created!  All of these were fall themed layout and I thought that I had better share since fall is almost completely gone in Northern Michigan!!  I hope that you like them!
